meeting in Indianapolis

HEARINGS
A hearing was conducted to
consider the appeal of Matthew Shaffer, a student at Park Tudor High School. Matthew had been declared to
have limited eligibility on the basis of Rule 19-6.2. A hearing was requested in order to appeal
the ruling and obtain full eligibility.
Following the hearing, legal counsel for the student’s family the IHSAA
submitted findings of fact. Having
analyzed all of the available data, IHSAA Review Committee voted to uphold the
decision of the Commissioner.
A hearing was conducted to
consider the appeal of Jennifer Welsh, a student at Harrison (West
Lafayette) High
School. Jennifer had been declared to
have limited eligibility on the basis of Rule 19-6.2. A hearing was requested in order to appeal
the ruling and obtain full eligibility. Following the hearing, the student’s family and legal counsel for
the IHSAA submitted findings of fact.
Having analyzed the available data, IHSAA Review Committee voted to grant
full eligibility on the basis of Rule 17-8.
A hearing was conducted to
consider the appeal of Jeremy Stewart, a student at Evansville Harrison High School. Jeremy had
been declared to have limited eligibility on the basis of Rule 19-6.2. A hearing was requested in order to appeal
the ruling and obtain full eligibility. Following the hearing, the student’s family and legal counsel for
the IHSAA submitted findings of fact.
Having analyzed all of the available data, IHSAA Review Committee voted
to uphold the decision of the Commissioner.

consider the appeal of Charles Jeffrey, a student at Columbus North High School. Charles had
been declared ineligible limited eligibility on the basis of Rule 19-6.2. A hearing was requested in order to appeal
the ruling and obtain full eligibility. Following the hearing, the student’s family and legal counsel for
the IHSAA submitted findings of fact.
Having analyzed all of the available data, IHSAA Review Committee voted
to uphold the decision of the Commissioner.

consider the appeal of Deric Stokes, a student at Warsaw High School. Deric
had been declared ineligible on the basis of Rule 19-4. A hearing was requested in order to appeal
the ruling and obtain full eligibility. Following the hearing, the student’s family and legal counsel for
the IHSAA submitted findings of fact.

to uphold the decision of the Commissioner.
